CTA Scanner is a Chrome extension that helps users audit call-to-action (CTA) buttons and links on webpages.

Data Collection

CTA Scanner does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All processing of webpage content happens locally in the user’s browser.

Permissions

• activeTab is used to access the content of the webpage currently open in the browser to detect buttons and links.
• Host permissions (<all_urls>) are used to read the webpage content locally for the same purpose.
• Scripting is used to scan and generate the CTA table. No data is sent outside the user’s browser.

Third-Party Services

CTA Scanner does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
